✨ New feature

Welcome to the Yes or Mess blog: here's what's new

October 15, 2026

Every couple now has its own page, whole casts are loaded the day a season starts, and email alerts tell you when the tea drops. Plus this blog, where you can comment, reply and settle every Hot Take.

Welcome to the very first post on the Yes or Mess blog. This is where we'll share new features, shows we just added, shows we're keeping an eye on, and the occasional big announcement. To kick it off, here's everything that's changed lately.

💑 Every couple gets its own page

Every couple in the game now has a page of its own. It shows:

  • The Tea: once the outcome is out, did they last, or is it a Mess?
  • What players predicted: the split between Yes and Mess, once enough Hot Takes are in to mean something
  • The rest of the cast: every other couple on the show, one tap away

Find any couple from their show's page at yesormess.com/shows, then drop the link in the group chat when the debate starts.

📋 The whole cast, ready on day one

You don't have to add couples yourself anymore. When a new season starts, we load every couple from the official cast, so the whole lineup is waiting for you. Open the show, add the couples you want to call, and make your Hot Take on each one.

Just don't wait too long. Shows lock on their own at 12:00 AM Eastern on the lock date, so picks close before that day's episodes drop. Once a show locks, your Hot Take is final, but you can still add The Tea when the show reveals what really happened.

📧 Email alerts so you never miss a lock date

Every player gets an email when:

  • A new show lands on Yes or Mess
  • The couples are in and picks are open, with the lock date front and center
  • The results are in, so you can see how your calls held up
  • A new blog post goes up, like this one

Nothing to install and nothing to switch on. If you have an account, you're on the list.

💬 This blog, with real comment threads

Every post has comments, and they work like a proper thread. Reply to anyone, collapse the side arguments, and keep the receipts. Anyone can read them, and you just need to be signed in to join in. Your name shows as your first name and last initial, and if your profile is private you show up as "A Yes or Mess player."

The newest post sits at the top of the News tab in the game, and every post lives at yesormess.com/blog. Each one has share buttons too, so you can send it straight to Facebook, Threads, LinkedIn or Reddit.

👕 Psst... merch is coming

We're working with Goddess Printing on the first Yes or Mess merch. Something for the friend who called it from episode one, and for the one who still hasn't lived down that wrong pick. More soon, and you'll hear about it here first.

Tell us what you think

Which feature should we build next? Drop it in the comments. And if there's a show you want in the game, tell us that too.

See you in the comments,
Keith
